Your dreams are important and we want to help you achieve them. Our four-step training process builds the technical skills and confidence you need for a thriving career.

Step One: Introduction
You’ll start your career with us with an eight-day trial where you will learn Lion team culture and receive training in product knowledge, color application, shampoo techniques and makeup application. If it’s a good fit, you’ll be hired at the end of the trial with a signup bonus!

Step Two: Internship
Our intern program is where you’ll learn and get hands-on experience with specific skillsets. Classes are held every Wednesday morning. You will grow your skills by working on timed exercises with live models. The program lasts anywhere from six to eight months.

Step Three: Protégé
After completing the internship, you’ll become a Protégé Stylist and build your books while continuously receiving support and mentorship from team leaders. Protégé Stylists perform select services on guests and earn an hourly wage.

Step Four: Growth
Here, the sky is the limit. You’ll start as a Protégé Stylist and move up through benchmark achievements. If you work hard, you’ll flourish with us.
